Black and White Damask Wedding Guest Book

Black and White Damask Wedding Guest Book by AKDWeddings
The Elegant and classy design of the French Damask can go a long way when paired with Black, White, an accent color, and a cute couple. Kris and Brenna were getting married in the winter, and a damask wedding guest book would match all of the decor for the wedding and in their home afterwards. We decided to style the pages in different layouts that would incorporate a damask pattern on the borders or background to leave room for pictures and writing space. Every page would be different. There were some quotes that the couple had collected from Facebook, cards, and notes- and wanted to include in the book next to pictures that fit the words best.

The cover of this Wedding Guest Book has a pretty damask pattern, along with one of the couple's vertical photos and a light creme tag. They had suggested doing the book in ALL black and white, but together we decided against it so that the beautiful fall colors could show through and add interest to the pages. The elements on this cover, for example, fit perfectly to show their style while still allowing for some color.

The bride and groom requested that their song "My Best Friend" by spread over 2 pages in the middle of the book. That way, whenever they opened their guest book it would open neatly to their song. We added some effects to give the photo a dream-like, delicate look. To fix the distracting leaves and details in the background, and to give more importance to the text, the edges were blurred and the focus was given to the kissing couple in the centerfold.

The couple opted for 22 pages instead of our standard 20 because they would have over 200 guests and wanted to ensure there was enough room. This book also has 2 front-and-back empty pages in the back to write on in case guests are not comfortable with doing so near the photos.

Rustic Elegance Wedding Guest Book

Here's some Guest Book Ideas that will bring you back to the New England splendor and beauty of your Rustic Elegance Wedding.
Memorable details this Rustic Elegance Wedding Guest Book by AKDWeddings

Bryan and Jenny are getting married in the New England summer at a charming farm with their closest friends and family. Jenny said she wanted the book to be intimate- just like their wedding. They wanted to have a Guest Book that fit their wedding style and theme, showed off their childhood pictures and also included their parents' wedding photos, and engagement pictures.

The cover of this Wedding Guest Book features Rustic wood and the names of the Bride and Groom, and their wedding date painted in white. Other ideas we played around with were having their names carved into a tree, or using a photo of them by a tree trunk that we could paint their Guest Book Title on.

With a close-knit family that was there when Bryan proposed, it was pretty cool that Jenny's father wrote about it and they included it in their Guest Book.

The couple incorporated prompts for guests like "What's the best advice?" and "Why do Bryan and Jenny belong together?" They also included childhood and family pictures—including ones of their dogs! To match the theme, the photos were made into polaroids and strung on a rope across a rustic ladder.
